VIC PIF members to 2024 RANZCP International Congress on Neuropsychiatry
Eligible PIF members from Victoria are invited to apply for a sponsorship to attend the 2024 RANZCP International Congress on Neuropsychiatry, being held in Melbourne, Victoria between Sunday 27 October to Tuesday 29 October 2024.
Eligible PIF members must be:
- medical students or postgraduate year 1 and 2 doctors or postgraduate year 3+ doctors excluding those who are trainees and Fellows of another speciality; and
- residing in Victoria.
Four (4) sponsorship places are on offer and include:
- Full conference registration
- Ticket to the welcome Reception
Sponsorship recipients must attend the full program from Sunday 27 October to Tuesday 29 October 2024.
*Please note that travel and accommodation costs, where required, is not covered by this sponsorship and is the responsibility of the congress delegate to arrange and pay for these. Meals outside of the congress program are not included in this sponsorship.

Photography & Recording
Images and/or voices of attendees may be recorded during the congress for use in RANZCP website, communications and media, including social media. If you do not wish for your image or voice to be publicised, please email pif@ranzcp.org.
Evaluation
Sponsorship recipients will be required to submit a short reflection on their attendance at the congress.
Delegate Cancellation - Medical
The health and safety of congress attendees is our highest priority. The RANZCP is mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19, and the importance of following official medical advice with respect to social distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. The RANZCP requests that any delegate who is feeling unwell or has cold or flu like symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, not attend the congress.
If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the congress, you must contact the PIF Team in writing by email to pif@ranzcp.org.
Conference Cancellation
The RANZCP may cancel or postpone the congress due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises. Due to the nature of the event, it may be reasonable to postpone the event to a later year and/or to change the location for the Congress. Any changes or postponement will be communicated to the sponsorship recipients.
Health and Safety Requirements
All participants at the Congress will be required to comply with the Health and Safety Guidelines and protocols in place with the venue/s and the Congress which will be aligned and compliant with all relevant Commonwealth and state government health advice at that time. By registering for this event, the RANZCP reserves the right to provide your contact details to authorities for the purposes of contact tracing and any other relevant government requirements. Details of any relevant protocols and requirements will be communicated to delegates who will be bound by these requirements.
Insurance
Participants are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. The sponsorship and delegate registration fee do not provide any such insurance coverage. The RANZCP PIF, Organising Committee and the Congress Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

By registering, participants acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at the INA 2024 Congress their image or voice may be recorded via video, photograph or by any other means (“recorded”) by an officer or official of the INA 2024 Congress which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the organisers of the INA 2024 Congress. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the Congress Office in advance by email.
