HybridThe seminar will focus on Voluntary Assisted Dying in NSW and the implications for psychiatrists.
Topics will include legal basis for Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD), how the VAD process is expected to work, capacity and assessment/documentation, possible "difficult conversations" around VAD in clinical settings.
All fellows and trainees are welcome.

Cancellation - Change of mind
If you change your mind, please send your cancellation to ranzcp.nsw@ranzcp.org. Cancellations made prior to 06 October 2023 will receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation - Medical
The health and safety of attendees is our highest priority, RANZCP is mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19, and the importance of following official medical advice with respect to social distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. RANZCP requests that any attendee who is feeling unwell or has cold or flu symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, not attend the event.
If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the event, please send your cancellation to ranzcp.nsw@ranzcp.org. A full refund will be provided. However, you may be asked to provide additional details.
Event cancellation
RANZCP is monitoring the latest health advice from both the Department of Health (Australia) and the New South Wales Government, and we ask that all attendees do the same. If we are required to make any changes or cancellations to our event due to government restrictions in relation to COVID-19, attendees will be notified by email and will be provided with a full refund of their registration fee.
