Organised bySection of Social, Cultural and Rehabilitation Psychiatry
The Section of Social, Cultural and Rehabilitation Psychiatry takes great pride in its long history of hosting conferences outside of major centres. In 2024 the Section invite you to join with friends and colleagues at Leura in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.
The scientific program is exceptional. Professor Helen Killaspy joins us in person from the United Kingdom. Professor Gin Malhi will travel a shorter distance. Both of these exceptional academics will educate and provoke about the big issues. They are leaders in shifting paradigms within our specialty.
Our program includes sessions on homelessness and loneliness emphasising the conference focus on the social determinants of mental health. If you think these topics are important and too often neglected, then this conference is essential for you.
There will be time for you to enjoy the company of friends and colleagues in the beautiful surrounds. Please join us on the first weekend of Autumn 2024 for a stimulating and enjoyable conference.
