The binational committee of the RANZCP Section of Child and Adolescent Forensic Psychiatry invites you to our 2023 conference Tales from the Edge.

We welcome our acclaimed keynote speakers- A/Prof Andrew Carroll and Prof Susan Hatters- Friedman forensic psychiatrists whose pioneering work has expanded our worlds.

The program includes papers at the cutting edge in our field of practice and the challenges faced by our patients ‘on the edge’-marginalised and often peripheral to the systems around them . Throughout the conference we will explore a range of topics related to the intersection of mental health, the law and the boundary between normal and abnormal child and adolescent development.

We invite each of you from across the interconnected professional galaxy- Psychiatrists, paediatricians, GPs, lawyers, allied health staff, nurses, specialist registrars and university students from all disciplines to join forces with us as we explore new frontiers through engaging in thoughtful and thought-provoking discussions that will deepen our understanding of child and adolescent forensic psychiatry.
