Event information
We took a break from this conference in 2023 due to the Binational FCAP Conference being held in sunny Noosa. We look forward to bringing it back as our biggest and final Qld FCAP event for this year. As always, I'm sure it will be a day of thought-provoking talks, lively discussion, and collegial networking.
This year's theme reflects the rapidly shifting cultural, psychological, and medical landscape in which we work. The challenges of maintaining the foundations of evidence based, person centred, high quality and empathetic care, while meeting increasing demands and expectations, continue to expand. In the face of these changes, how do we innovate to optimise the mental health and wellbeing of Queensland's children and families?
Our keynote speaker, Prof Brett McDermott, will begin the day with the presentation 'The changing face of CAMH presentations - proactively respond or risk diminished relevance?'. This will be followed by a broad range of topical and interesting presentations, culminating in a debate on diagnosing personality disorders in adolescents.
We're pleased to again offer a day of learning and connection amongst colleagues. We hope you will find the program engaging and informative and enjoy catching up in the relaxed setting of the Victoria Park Golf Club.
Queensland FCAP Committee look forward to seeing you there.
Registrations for this event close 22nd October 2024.
