We are excited to be hosting our annual PIF How to Apply RANZCP Fellowship Training Program Online Interactive Q&A Webinar on Thursday, 27 March from 6.30pm – 7.30pm NZDT. 

You are invited to register for this course by completing the pre-course survey by Monday 2March. As part of the registration survey, you are welcome to indicate any topics that you would like to see covered in the short course, and we will try our best to include the most popular topics.

This live short course will allow you to gain further insights into a day/week in the life of a psychiatrist, cover a diverse range of psychiatry subspecialties, as well as different practice opportunities and the RANZCP training program from our trainees and psychiatrists. There will also be an opportunity to ask live questions in a 35-minute Q&A session towards the end of the course.

Pre-course survey

We are pleased to introduce our presenter, RANZCP Fellow, Dr Elizabeth Fussell, Director of Training and Consultant Psychogeriatrician at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Waikato. Dr Fussell will be accompanied by a RANZCP Trainee.

Dr Dylan Kimpton

Stage 3 Psychiatry Registrar
Dr Dylan Kimpton is a Stage 3 Psychiatry Registrar working in the Waikato. Dylan was brought up in Ngaruawahia and attended the University of Auckland for his undergraduate MBChB degree. Dylan completed two years as a house officer at Waikato Hospital, and began psychiatry training the following year across inpatient and outpatient placements in Hamilton. Dylan and his wife have had two children while he has been working as a doctor. On completion of his RANZCP training, Dylan intends apply for an SMO job locally as a general psychiatrist.

Old Age Psychiatrist
Dr Elizabeth Fussell has been the director of stage 3 training in Upper Central North Island, Waikato New Zealand, since 2019 and is also an Old Age Psychiatrist. She has a background in medical education having worked as a senior lecturer at the University of Colorado, Denver and is also the National Director of Advanced Training for Old Age Psychiatry in New Zealand.
