Opportunity for rural trainees to attend Congress in Adelaide

The RANZCP has a limited number of sponsored registrations available for rurally based trainees to attend the RANZCP 2017 Congress, which will be held in Adelaide from 30 April to 4 May 2017.

Included in the sponsorship:

  • RANZCP Congress registration

  • Gala dinner ticket

  • Travel (airfare and accommodation) up to $1000, to be booked through the College.

This grant is available to rurally based RANZCP trainees who:

  • are based in an area classified between RA2 and RA5  as per the Australian Standard Geographical Classification – Remoteness Areas system;

  • are working for at least 0.5 full-time equivalent in an RA 2–5 area within rotation 1, 2017

  • have supervisor and service leave approval to be considered for the grant.
