Each year, the RANZCP presents a variety of awards, grants and prizes to both Fellows and trainees, and to external individuals or organisations.

Through its awards program, the RANZCP seeks to:

• Acknowledge outstanding achievements and contributions to psychiatry, the community, and the College;
•  Recognise excellence in psychiatric research and training, and encourage new and emerging researchers;
•  Provide grants to further professional development opportunities;
•  Promote the development of psychiatry more widely within Australia / New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region (including amongst professional groups, and medical students).
