Dr Nicola Campbell

Chair of the RANZCP Bi-national Committee for Trainees (BCT)

Dr Nicola Campbell is in the final stages of completing her RANZCP training, as well as a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is currently the Chair of the Binational Committee for Trainees (BCT). 

Dr Campbell has worked both in regional and metropolitan settings throughout her training, and was previously the Chief Registrar CYMHS of Children’s Health Queensland, and the Principal Registrar (Mental Health) for Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service. Dr Campbell has also completed a Masters of Public Health and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education, and has continued to explore interests in public health and education throughout her training time.  She has also been involved in various trainee led groups, including her local Psychiatry Trainees Association. 

Dr Campbell has keen interests in supporting the wellbeing of doctors, particularly doctors in training, through systems based approaches, and has previously been the Chair of the Wellbeing Special Interest Group of the Australian Medical Association. 

Dr Campbell will be completing her term with the RANZCP BCT in May due to completion of her training, and plans to continue working in child and adolescent psychiatry in the public sector.
